While planning the layout, we will factor in things such as the estimated time for project completion, exceptions, resources required, and more. Once we are all set and our plan is ready, we will discuss it at length with you. So, there are no chances of any miscommunication in the later stages of decommissioning. Education IT Disposal Solution We have partnered with a large number of schools in NSW and throughout Australia to remove & recycle unwanted assets. Computers that are used daily are replaced on average every 3-4 years. To cope with this regular disposal of assets, our solutions are tailored to the needs of Educational Institutions. With the majority of schools and colleges that we deal with not being local, we normally ask that they send us a detailed list of any equipment that they have for disposal, and we quote based on the information received. The information that we ask for is usually Make, Model, Condition, Hard Drives, Processor, Memory, Monitor Size. Also, we need to know if the drives need all data erased, and if devices come complete with original charger/power leads, keyboards, pens etc. Once we have a complete list, we then base our quote on this information, after allowing for any transport costs from the customer’s location to our warehouse. We do our utmost to keep the transport cost to a minimum, and we will liaise with the customer and our local agents to find the cheapest, most efficient way to carry this out. Sometimes it is best to use our own trucks, but often the best way is to use trusted couriers such as Fedex, and we will arrange collection using our account. Once the equipment arrives at our secure warehouse, we carry out a full audit and testing, along with data erasure when required. Once this is completed, we then provide a full Audit Report and all Data Erasure Certificates.
